How To Become A Person Of Value.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

Introduction

How to become a person of value. When contemplating the path to success, the question often arises: “How does one achieve success?” In response, I’d like to offer the following insight: Rather than fixating solely on pursuing success, you can direct your focus towards becoming a person of substantial value. This is not just a shift in mindset. This guiding principle can lead you to a more fulfilling and impactful life. Instead of explicitly aiming for success, strive to enhance your worth and skill set. By becoming a person of intrinsic value, you position yourself to attract opportunities and recognition.

Much like the precious nature of gold and silver or the indispensable utility of gasoline and water, your goal is to make yourself indispensable within the context of societal demand. Through this approach, your unique contributions will naturally command remuneration and esteem within the community. The value we place on things often comes from the effort and attention we give them. Just like how we assign high value to gold by treating it as precious, we can also make ourselves valuable by investing in our own personal growth and development.

This self-investment is the key to unlocking our potential and becoming a person of substantial value.

In essence, strive to cultivate your unique talent to the point where it holds immense value for others, prompting them to invest in it. Your unique talent is your ticket to becoming indispensable. Aim to evolve into a person esteemed for their contributions. How can you achieve this? Dedicate yourself to refining your talent to a level that holds value and fulfils a critical need in the world. Those well-versed in economics recognise that wealth is drawn to value. Therefore, rather than pursuing money directly, concentrate on making yourself indispensable.

Once you have honed your gift irreplaceably, people will actively seek you out and compensate you for staying true to your authentic self.

The Path To Success

When the topic of golf arises, it’s difficult not to think of the iconic figure of Tiger Woods, a true leader in the sport. Similarly, the name Michael Jordan resonates immediately when basketball is mentioned, reflecting his unparalleled dominance. These individuals are celebrated for their exceptional skills and influence within their respective domains rather than simply for their leadership over others. What defines you as a person? What unique skills do you possess, and what secrets have contributed to your success? Your unique talent is what sets you apart and makes you truly valuable.

Tiger Woods at his peak

I would like to share an inspiring anecdote from Michael Jordan’s high school days, as recounted in his autobiography. During that time, he expressed feeling like a “slave” due to his slender build and his burning desire to pursue basketball. His childhood dreams centred around the game, envisioning himself on the court, effortlessly taking shots surrounded by spectators. When I visualised myself playing basketball, I was determined and headed straight to the coach to express my desire to join the team. I took my first shot with a ball in hand, but it missed. Undeterred, I tried again, only to miss once more.

The unimpressed coach dismissed me with a cutting remark about my lack of coordination. Despite his discouraging words, I refused to let go of my dream. I’ve understood that pursuing greatness often means facing scepticism, even from those closest to you. My family, too, failed to see the validity of my aspirations, choosing instead to scoff at my ambitions. This lack of support fuelled a fire within me. I know now that greatness often arises from a place of anger and passion.

Never Give Up

“During a difficult time, Michael Jordan found solace and motivation in the school gym. Every morning at three, while everyone else was still asleep, he rose to the deserted gym. With just a basketball in hand, he would spend four hours practising his shots in solitude, accompanied only by the scurrying of rats and the presence of cockroaches. Despite lacking an audience, Michael remained dedicated, tirelessly shooting the ball until it found its mark. Michael cultivated the greatness that would eventually become known in these quiet, overlooked moments, a testament to the power of dedication and perseverance.”

It is a powerful reminder of how greatness often springs from unseen, solitary efforts and how our most significant growth can occur in the quiet moments, away from the limelight, ultimately preparing us for when the world is ready

Before he became a valuable player with the Chicago Bulls, young Michael Jordan

In a captivating narrative, Michael Jordan reflected on a pivotal experience from his youth that shaped his approach to basketball. At the age of fifteen, he stumbled upon a remarkable talent that would change the course of his career. Recounting the moment, Jordan vividly recalled how he decided to experiment with shooting while closing his eyes, initially as a light-hearted attempt. To his surprise, the ball consistently found its way into the hoop with unerring accuracy, prompting him to refine this unorthodox skill. Jordan spoke of the dedication and practice that enabled him to seamlessly execute blindfolded shots, transforming what seemed improbable into a mastered art.

Jordan underscored the importance of individual prowess by recognising one’s unique abilities and tirelessly cultivating them. Furthermore, he imparted a valuable message about embracing one’s distinct talents instead of harbouring envy towards others, advocating a mindset focused on personal growth and fulfilment. Reflecting on a poignant memory from his past, Jordan also revealed a setback he encountered when expressing his desire to join a basketball team, only to be met with rejection from the coach. This anecdote serves as a reminder of the perseverance and resilience required to overcome obstacles on the path to achievement.

Despite his strong insistence, the coach firmly refused to let him play, offering a jersey in exchange for staying on the bench. As the team travelled to face another school, he anxiously watched from the sidelines, yearning for an opportunity to show his skills. His moment finally arrived when the star player sustained an injury and had to leave the game. With two players fouled out, the coach turned to him with a reassuring smile and issued specific instructions. He was given the chance to enter the game, with the condition that he refrain from taking any shots and instead focus on passing the ball. Nervously, he agreed to the coach’s terms, eager to contribute to the team’s success.

The game restarted with the piercing sound of the whistle, and he charged into the court, brimming with excitement. Suddenly, the ball was passed to him, and amidst the coach’s urgent shout to pass it, his inner voice urged him to shoot. When he closed his eyes, Michael Jordan once shared that he envisioned angels instead of rats and cockroaches. With eyes shut, he described leaning back and releasing the ball, silently praying for it to find the net. When he opened his eyes, the only sound was of people cheering in disbelief. Players piled on him, overwhelmed by what they had just witnessed.

Who Do You Remind People Of?

When the coach came over, he expressed his disbelief, saying, “I can’t believe it.” What would it be if someone had to think of something that epitomises you? This question is crucial because if others do not think of you quickly, you have yet to make a notable impact, potentially leaving you as a jack of all trades without mastering any.

Become A Person Of Value

What are your thoughts on Tiger Woods? How do you perceive Michael Jordan? What’s your opinion on Barbara Streisand? When people discuss you in connection with your profession, such as “Drake is acting and singing,” do you feel like they do not really think about you at all? Becoming so skilled in your field is essential that you cannot be ignored. By doing so, people will recognise your talent and be willing to compensate you for being yourself. Take the time to reflect on the next twenty years and establish a niche for yourself that cannot be overlooked. Yeshua spoke with such assurance, proclaiming, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger.”

“He established himself as indispensable to others. I am the ultimate source of life for anyone who seeks it; in other words, when people seek nourishment, they think of Yeshua as the provider of the life-giving water that attracted thousands.”

  1. Develop your art your gift that you are so good at it and they will pay you to be yourself. There you got it. From the way I knew you it calls for you to expand this to be a Vlog. Why? You were so good you were a natural on the “vocals”. It was interesting reading about Michael Jordan. Have a good week.

Thanks for your feedback Wellie, always appreciate your views. You have given me food for thought on the Vlog idea I will explore it and see how it pans out. We all have gifts and talents in one thing or another and while some people discover theirs early others search for a lifetime meanwhile it has been staring them in the face all the time. The same vocals, I am now using to service mankind, back in the days when I was deejaying was my training ground a prerequisite for the things that I am now doing. Word of Yahweh really works.
